Tiberiu Tesileanu is currently a Research Software Engineer at Meta, working with the CTRL team. Before that he was an Associate Research Scientist with the Center for Computational Neuroscience at the Flatiron Institute. His background is in high energy physics, having worked on the AdS/CFT duality in string theory for his PhD. He then worked for several years in systems biology and computational neuroscience, before shifting focus towards machine learning and software engineering.
